Join me for this workshop, where you'll design and machine-knit your own hat. Working with superfine merino wool, you'll be able to choose from a large archive of patterns and colours to create a unique piece.

This workshop is a great introduction to the fundamentals of machine knitting and requires no previous experience or knowledge of knitting machines. My goal is for you to leave wearing a hat that we've designed and knitted together from start to finish.

Together we will explore the following machine knitting techniques:

• plain knitting, stripe knitting, pattern knitting;
• mock rib;
• horizontal stitch transfer, gathering;
  
• edge seam join and steaming;
• finishing tips and tricks.
